April 19th General Membership Meeting

Teamsters Local 705 had a huge turn out for our General Membership Meeting on Sunday, April 19th. At the meeting the Local 705 actuaries did a presentation on Local 705's historic pension increase for our members. Thanks to everyone that attended and making Local 705 strong!

Joe worked at UPS Jeff Street for 37 years and for the last 27 years served faithfully as a steward for Local 705. Thank you for your hard work and dedication, brother, and enjoy a well-earned retirement!

Strike at TCR!

Bargaining unit members at TCR in Bensenville are on a ULP strike against TCR for its unfair labor practices against the employees.

We are fighting for dignity, respect and the right to unionize for a fair contract!

Mauser Teamsters Interrogated by Bovino and Border Patrol Agents While on Strike

On June 9, 2025, over 100 Local 705 Teamsters at Mauser Packaging Solutions began their strike after the company failed to offer a fair and acceptable contract and illegally surveilled members. Members were demanding higher wages, better benefits, safer working conditions, and common-sense measures to prevent ICE from entering the workplace without a federal judicial warrant.
